Plastique are Europe’s leading designers & manufacturers of rigid plastic packaging that visually enhances clients products & promotes their brands. Whilst creating packaging materials that stand out in a crowded retail marketplace for their clients, Plastique realised that their own brand would benefit from an update to create a more contemporary look and feel.

Our Approach

As the existing brand was well established within the industry it was crucial that we create a similar logo containing an icon in the same position to the company name which would bridge the gap between the past brand and our new one. We used a fresh, contemporary font and created an icon that was sympathetic to the original in shape and position but utilised a wider colour pallette giving the logo more punch and appeal. So as to make good use of digital technologies moving forward it was key that the new brand should work well online as well as offline. The wider use of colour within the icon has been used throughout the branding of the marketing materials to differentiate areas of operation and the icon has been developed as a device that can hold images where required.

The Results

A bright and contemporary new brand style that has been rolled out across the entire company from factory signage to website. Everyone at Plastique is extremely pleased with their new look and are now more confident that the quality of their service and products are matched by the presentation of themselves as an organisation.
